A Breast MRI is a useful diagnostic tool to help determine treatment or the extent of breast cancer and can also be used to diagnose abnormal Mammography and Ultrasound results.
A certified technologist will perform this exam with contrast for higher-quality imaging. The patient will be asked to lie down (face down) and will be asked to change into a gown for comfort during the exam.
Equipped with CADstream software, this gives the Radiologist extra support in identifying abnormal lesions and allows for faster turnaround time as it relates to results.
