Open MRI

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is an advanced diagnostic imaging procedure that creates detailed images of internal bodily structures without the use of ionized radiation (x-rays). MRI is able to produce these detailed images through the use of a powerful magnet, radiowaves and a computer. MRI can assist physicians in detecting and diagnosing diseases or other abnormalities in very early stages.

UMIH is a leading provider of MRI services to hospitals and healthcare facilities. All of UMIH’s MRI systems are equipped with the manufacturers’ latest coils and software and is maintained under Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) service contracts. In order to ensure that our customers receive accurate high quality images, every MRI system undergoes daily Quality Control testing.

UMIH has multiple fixed MRI sites across the country, and also develops co-source arrangements with hospitals and other healthcare providers who need full-time MRI services without the financial burden of ownership. UMIH provides mobile MRI service to healthcare facilities on a shared, part-time basis. In addition, UMIH provides mobile MRI systems on an “interim rental” basis to various healthcare providers on either a long-term or short-term basis.
