Nuclear Medicine

Nuclear Medicine is an exam that produces unique images, unlike any other imaging exam. The resulting images help determine how a disease affects the body, which can lead to proper treatment. It also helps determine if a certain diagnosis is benign or malignant.

 Exams for Nuclear Medicine at UMIH include Whole Body Scans, Bone Scans, Brain/Liver/Thyroid Scans, and Lexiscans (also known as a Stress Test).
